Hop Brook Marsh Conservation, Sudbury, Mass (Sunday Feb 15, 2009)

Hop Brook trails were very icy during our visit and very desolate. We only saw two dogs on the way out and from a distance a man and his dog down the railroad tracks. Very marshy area with little foot paths and bridges to get you thru the trails. Definately a place for a wildlife observer and nature lover. We only saw a beaver swimming to it's den but we have no doubt lots more wildlife can be viewed here if you stay long enough and wait quietly amongst the many Pine trees. Thorne had a blast running down trails and smelling lots of scents. If you are interested in heavy doggie socializing this may not be the place. If you prefer to be more alone this is the place to be.
